Counseling for sensitive people, struggling adolescents, and the parents who love them
A whole-person approach to anxiety, identity, and meaningful change
In-person: Philadelphia
Virtual: Pennsylvania & Florida
Welcome!
I offer counseling for individuals, teens, young adults, and families navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, perfectionism, relationship challenges, and questions of gender and identity — including parents seeking support for gender-distressed children.
You are layered, dynamic, and whole. We all deserve a space where we can set down the roles we carry, explore our inner experiences with curiosity, and make sense of the challenges that shape our lives. Whether you're struggling to understand yourself, trying to support a child you're worried about, or simply feeling like something needs to shift — counseling can be a place to slow down, gain clarity, and reconnect with what matters most.
Through a warm, grounded, and DBT-informed approach, I help individuals and families build the skills and awareness needed to create lives that feel more connected, balanced, and meaningful.
Parents & Families
Parenting a struggling adolescent can feel isolating, confusing, and overwhelming — especially when you're not sure how to help. If your child is navigating questions of gender or identity, you don't have to figure it out alone.
What Is DBT?
Dialectical Behavior Therapy is a skills-based approach that helps people manage difficult emotions, navigate relationships, and build lives that feel meaningful. It's practical, evidence-based, and effective for a wide range of struggles.
Come See Me in Person
I'm delighted to be offering in-person counseling sessions, available in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia.
You may be someone who feels deeply, notices everything, and spends a lot of time caring for others. While these qualities can be strengths, they can also leave you feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or disconnected from yourself.
Working Together
-
I believe counseling works best when people feel genuinely seen rather than judged. My approach blends elements of DBT and somatic awareness while helping clients better understand emotional and relational patterns. I see the therapeutic relationship as central to the work, so I take time getting to know each client in order to tailor therapy to their unique needs and nervous system.
-
are deeply sensitive — and often find yourself managing everyone else's emotions before your own
overthink conversations, decisions, or relationships, and are hard on yourself despite appearing capable
absorb other people's moods and needs, and struggle with anxiety, burnout, or emotional exhaustion as a result
live with depression, or carry a heaviness you can't quite name
are navigating questions about your sexuality and want space to explore that without pressure or assumptions
are an adolescent navigating identity, gender, or just the weight of growing up — or a parent trying to support them through it
hide emotional vulnerability behind competence, humor, or self-control
crave deeper self-understanding and want therapy that feels genuinely collaborative — not a performance of being fine

Counseling with me tends to be conversational, reflective, and grounded in real life. Some sessions may focus on slowing down and making sense of emotions or relationship dynamics, while others may be more practical and skills-based. I try to balance insight with support, helping you understand your emotional world with more clarity, flexibility, and self-trust.
