Therapy for Anxiety, Overwhelm, and the Pressure of Everyday Life

"Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart."
— Rainer Maria Rilke

If stress, emotions, relationships, or daily responsibilities feel harder to manage than they should, counseling can help you build a life worth living — one that feels more balanced, connected, and meaningful. In-person sessions are available in Philadelphia, with virtual appointments offered throughout Pennsylvania and Florida.

Welcome!

Many of the people I work with are insightful, deeply feeling, and accustomed to carrying a great deal internally. On the outside, you likely appear calm, capable, and dependable—the person everyone else relies on. But privately, you might be navigating stress, self-doubt, anxiety, or an emotional intensity that others rarely see.

Whether you identify strongly as a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) or simply know you’ve spent years appearing "high-functioning" while feeling secretly overwhelmed, you belong here.

You don't need a specific label to benefit from therapy. If you are struggling with overthinking, burnout, perfectionism, or people-pleasing — or if you are navigating complex questions around identity, gender, relationships, and belonging — you don't have to carry it alone.

Therapy offers a dedicated space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and make sense of the emotional and relational patterns shaping your life. My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative, helping you move past survival mode so you can build resilience, find clarity, and create a life that feels genuinely worth living.

You may be someone who feels deeply, notices everything, and spends a lot of time caring for others. While these qualities can be strengths, they can also leave you feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or disconnected from yourself.

Working Together

  • I believe therapy works best when people feel genuinely seen rather than judged. My approach blends elements of DBT and somatic awareness while helping clients better understand emotional and relational patterns. I see the therapeutic relationship as central to the work, so I take time getting to know each client in order to tailor therapy to their unique needs and nervous system.

    • feel emotions deeply and become overwhelmed easily

    • overthink conversations, decisions, or relationships

    • tend to absorb other people’s emotions or needs

    • struggle with anxiety, emotional intensity, or burnout

    • are hard on yourself despite appearing capable

    • find yourself constantly managing other people’s emotions while struggling to make space for your own

    • often feel responsible for keeping things together

    • crave deeper self-understanding and authenticity

    • tend to hide emotional vulnerability behind competence or self-control

    • want therapy that feels thoughtful, collaborative, and human

  • Therapy with me tends to be conversational, reflective, and grounded in real life. Some sessions may focus on slowing down and making sense of emotions or relationship dynamics, while others may be more practical and skills-based. I try to balance insight with support, helping you understand your emotional world with more clarity, flexibility, and self-trust.
